Dueña de mi futuro is an enrichment program specially designed for Latinas in grades 6-12 with each session taking place on Saturdays. The program offers participants an opportunity to learn from educators and speakers about leadership and college and career opportunities. The program is presented in English. Youth from all backgrounds can register.
This program is presented by For a Real Change in partnership with the Hispanic Organization for the Promotion of Education (HOPE) with support from the WKU Recruitment in Equity and Diversity in Teaching Program and Southcentral Kentucky Community & Technical College.

Registration
The registration fee is $20 and is payable after completing the registration form or the first day. Limited sponsored registrations are available for teens participating in the full academic year.

Dueña de mi futuro is designed for Latinas in grades 6-12. The program is open to all youth who may enjoy learning from Latina professionals and their experiences along with other career professionals about college and career topics.
Youth are split into groups based on their grade level with groups expected for 6-8 and 9-12 grades.
HERE IS WHAT YOUTH CAN EXPECT
Each Saturday, participants hear from the main presentation speaker, participate in activities and small groups (led by mentoras) around the given topic for the day, and engage in a career exploration activity.
Youth learn from leaders, get to know their peers, and share their knowledge and opinions on the topics.
