Monica Hines joins first week of Living as Leaders

In just a few days we kick off Living as Leaders, and this year we welcome Monica Hines as one of our first week speakers. 

Monica Hines is the Director of the Training Resource Center, Continuing Education Coordinator, and an instructor for the Public Child Welfare Certification Program at Western Kentucky University.  Monica has been a proud social worker for 18 ½ years.  She is on the board of directors for the Kentucky Social Welfare Foundation and the President of the Association of Black Social Workers of Southcentral Kentucky.

Monica completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work and Sociology with a minor in Criminology, her Master’s in Social Work, and is currently completing her doctoral degree in Educational Leadership.  Lastly, Monica is a member of the lovely ladies of Alpha Kappa Alpha, Sorority, Inc.
